When Middletown Schools needed an “Energy Manager” they hired Innovative Energy Solutions as their partner to manage energy consumption in all of their buildings and perform all required maintenance for critical HVAC systems in each of their new schools. This partnership has resulted in Energy Savings to the district of over $1 Million Dollars over the past three years and each of their schools now has an “Energy Star” rating.
Location
The mission of the Middletown City Schools is to provide our culturally diverse students with highly-challenging and engaging school work, which assists them in gaining valued knowledge and skills. The eleven facilities of this metro school district are located between Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio.
Energy Solutions
Our Proactive Energy Managers assisted them to develop a “District Energy Policy”. We then implemented numerous strategies that drastically reduced the districts energy expenses, it funded their needed Maintenance program, and it provided a positive cash flow for the district. We also assisted them in the selection of their new Utility providers. From Demand Reduction to Utility Supplier Selection, IES has been involved in all critical Energy Management decisions.
